Starting in 2019, RCG has completed a significant overhaul of the Asheville Arms Apartments. RCG managed the transformation of the original 1967 structure by removing the dated mansard roof and replacing it with a vertical EIFS stucco wall assembly, changing out all the windows and upgrading all unit doors. Around the interior courtyard, the wrought iron handrail and post assemblies have been modernized, the painting scheme updated, and the pool replaced with a concrete and synthetic turf patio complete with a pergola shade structure and three gas grills. All underground water lines and gas piping were replaced as part of a building-wide infrastructure project that included updating the laundry room, installing new mailboxes, and creating new building signage. To date, 30 of the 56 apartments have also been fully renovated, with added features including new flooring, countertops, stainless appliances, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
